On our Group Staff Programme, you’ll experience an entire industry from every angle in our Asia Pacific hub. Whether it’s Cathay Pacific Group, HAECO Group, Swire Properties, Swire Beverages or our Trading and Industrial businesses, you’ll develop a holistic view through diverse job rotations within different departments that continue throughout your career. Each new job is carefully selected to deepen your knowledge in a specific industry and develop your natural leadership skills so that you can drive the business forward. It’s a hands-on experience - in the first few years, you’ll learn how we operate through detailed roles that will provide the foundation for your future career.

You’ll become a leader who never stops pushing to improve the business, making a lasting impact on the teams and communities you work with. In addition to learning on the job, you’ll be offered a comprehensive mix of experiential training focused on developing your functional and leadership capabilities. What we need

We’re looking for graduates who are curious, driven, adaptable and are natural leaders. Inclusive and open, you’ll exhibit the Swire values of excellence, endeavour, humility, continuity and integrity.

Requirements
  • You have the ambition, tenacity and potential to develop into a senior leader with Swire.
  • You’re ready for the challenge of moving predominately between Hong Kong and Mainland China on job rotations that will continue throughout your career.
  • You are culturally sensitive and quickly adaptable to new roles and situations.
  • You have the right of abode in Hong Kong SAR or PRC citizenship, or overseas nationals who are eligible for employment in Hong Kong under the Immigration Arrangement for Non-local Graduates (IANG) policy.
  • You have or are expecting an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK 2.1/GPA 3.0 out of 4.0.
  • You have an excellent command of written and spoken English (minimum HKDSE 5, TOEFL 80, TOEIC 750 or equivalent).
  • You have an excellent command of written and spoken Chinese (Putonghua or Cantonese).
  • International experiences through internships or study abroad are an advantage.
  • You want to hone your skills in one specific industry*.

*Depending on the needs of the business, there may be instances where you are requested to work in different industries.

Apply online from September to October.

If shortlisted, you’ll take part in an online aptitude test during November.

If successful you’ll attend an Assessment Centre between December and January. If you pass , you’ll then have the opportunity to share your experience at a panel interview.

Final interviews will take place in February.

Successful candidates will join us in late August.
